The spirit and purpose of this list can be found in Proverbs 15:22, which says: "Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established." This is intended to be a confidential forum to discuss issues of practical Christianity, particularly but not limited to the realm of Business & Finances. Equal emphases are to be placed on "confidentialty" and "discussion," so that we might feel free to speak our minds without having our expressed opinions shared all over the Internet. Disagreements are expected, opinions are welcome if well-supported, and an open mind toward God's direction - while not required for list membership - is essential as we all make our way on this earth under His watchful eye (Ps. 32:8).
